Programme Overview
The Bachelor in Information Technology (Honours) (Information Security) equips graduates with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in key areas such as computer networking, Internet security, information assurance and governance, system administration, and software security. The programme also provides handson exposure in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and digital forensics, enabling students to effectively prevent, detect, and defend organisational assets against internal and external threats. To strengthen their industry readiness, students also undergo a five-month industrial training and complete real-life projects in relevant information security domains, enhancing their professional qualifications, employability, and long-term career prospects.
