PwC’s Hack A Day 2024 Capture The Flag Competition
Two teams from the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology participated in the PwC’s Hack A Day 2024 Capture The Flag (CTF) competition on 11 November 2024, hosted by Asia Pacific University (APU). The event attracted over 300 students from across Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand.
The theme of this challenge is ‘Securing Identity’, emphasizing the importance of protecting personal and digital identities in our interconnected world. The competition provided participants with the unique opportunity to engage with AI tools, compete with regional peers, and tested their cybersecurity skills and knowledge. This event has been instrumental in helping students enhance their skills, gain valuable experience and prepare for future challenges in the cybersecurity field.
