Mastering ERP: Hands-On SAP Business One Logistics Workshop

To bridge academic learning with real-world industry requirements, TAR UMT organized a comprehensive three-day workshop titled "Managing Logistics in SAP Business One" during the semester break.

• Time: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily 

• Venue: Room B001D (Block B Lab) 

• Target Audience: REI students and lecturers

Core Objectives & Daily Workshop Structure

The workshop delivered practical knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Business One, enhancing participants' operational awareness, readiness for future coursework, and adoption of industry best practices. 

Led by industry experts from Fast Track SBOi Sdn Bhd—including Trainer Ms. Chu Siang Ting (Consultant Manager) and Facilitator Ms Looi Jia Tong and Ms Yeoh Yee Lu (SAP consultant)—the curriculum spans key business and logistics functions over three structured days: 

Day Modules Covered Focus Areas 

Day 1 Administration, Finance & Accounting System foundations & financial workflows

Day 2 Purchasing Procurement & vendor logistics

Day 3 Sales & Inventory Order management, warehousing & distribution

Participating students received a Certificate of Training upon completion. Beyond technical proficiency, student attendees earned valuable Graduate Attribute (GA) points. 

Additionally, tokens of appreciation were presented to the Fast Track SBOi representatives, including Ms. Chu Siang Ting, in recognition of their collaboration and vital contributions to student development.
