The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FOCS) held the Industry Expert Advisory Panel (IEAP) meetings with its External and Industry Advisers on 25 August 2025 at the TAR UMT Main Campus. The meetings were for programmes offered at the Faculty. As the name suggests, an IEAP provides input on the current and future needs of the industry. The meetings were chaired by Ts. Lim Shen Huoy, Dean of FOCS, with external academia and industry experts as well as Associate Deans, Programme Leaders and lecturers of the respective programmes as panel members.
The meetings were productive as the panel members and advisers exchanged positive and constructive feedback on the curriculum, academic programme, learning outcomes, syllabuses, facilities, pedagogy, academic and industry trends.
