The 4ᵗʰ International Conference on Digital Transformation and Applications (ICDXA 2025) successfully concluded on 30–31 October 2025 at BINUS University, Semarang, Indonesia, in a hybrid mode, bringing together participants from across academia, industry, and government.
ICDXA 2025, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chin Wan Yoke (TAR UMT, Malaysia), provided a dynamic platform for sharing ideas, presenting new research findings, and discussing the latest advancements in digital transformation. The conference highlighted how emerging technologies continue to reshape education, industry, and society, and explored innovative ways to leverage digital solutions for sustainable development.

ICDXA 2025 was proudly co-organized by a distinguished group of international institutions, reflecting its global and collaborative nature. BINUS University, Indonesia, served as the primary co-host and venue sponsor, contributing the most across all dimensions of the conference, from providing state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive logistical support to offering substantial research contributions and academic leadership. These experts delivered sessions on AI, digital innovation, Industry 4.0, computational data science, and smart technologies.The opening ceremony of ICDXA 2025 was graced by a remarkable performance from PARAMABIRA, the student choir of BINUS@Semarang. The performance included a heartfelt rendition of “For the Beauty of the Earth” a hymn arranged by John Rutter that invites reflection and thanksgiving for the beauty of nature and the harmonious relationships among humans. Additionally, PARAMABIRA presented the lively North Sumatran regional song “Sik Sik Sibatunikam” celebrating Indonesia’s rich cultural diversity and fostering a sense of togetherness and joy. Through this artistic showcase, the opening ceremony set an uplifting and inclusive tone for the conference, highlighting the values of collaboration, cultural appreciation, and shared purpose that resonate with the spirit of ICDXA 2025.
This year, ICDXA 2025 received a total of 189 paper submissions from researchers across the globe. Following a rigorous peer-review process, 82 papers were accepted for presentation, resulting in an acceptance rate of 43%, reflecting the conference’s commitment to high academic standards and research quality. The event was proudly supported by the IEEE Indonesia Computer Society Chapter as its technical co-sponsor, ensuring the conference maintained its technical rigor and relevance. Furthermore, all papers presented at ICDXA 2025 will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, providing authors with global visibility and significant academic impact.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chin Wan Yoke emphasised: "We encourage participants to actively listen, ask questions, and share insights. Conferences like ICDXA are not just for presenting research—they are opportunities to connect, collaborate, and inspire future ideas."
ICDXA 2025 actively reinforced research aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The conference promoted SDG 4 – Quality Education by fostering global knowledge exchange among academics, researchers, and students. Through discussions and presentations on emerging technologies, it advanced SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, particularly in areas such as Industry 4.0 and artificial intelligence research. The event also contributed to SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities by exploring smart city initiatives and digital community solutions. Finally, by bringing together international institutions and researchers, ICDXA 2025 strengthened SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, fostering collaboration and long-term research networks across borders.
