Sungai Long, Malaysia – 2 August 2025 – TAR UMT students from the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FOCS) achieved commendable success at the International-National Mathematics Competition (I-NMC) 2025, held at UTAR Sungai Long. The event brought together top young mathematical talents from across many institutions, offering a platform to showcase analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
The I-NMC 2025 provided a valuable experience for participants to strengthen their critical thinking, teamwork, and resilience under pressure.
A total of seven TAR UMT students participated in both individual and team categories. Among them, Peh Yi Hong stood out by winning the Second Runner-Up in his individual category (Z), demonstrating excellent mathematical skills and determination.
